another note about posting...

As usual, I am talking too much, but we are trying to get this off the ground, so I am going to make a few suggestions to get us started, since to my knowledge, no one else has been blogging so far.

One, all of you are invited as members so you can leave your own 'posts' (as opposed to 'comments'). Anyone can leave comments (that could be changed if we wanted it to be, but as is, anyone who looked at this could leave comments attached to any post unless someone disables comments for it), but only you, other members and I can leave posts.

So, notice that john and Lisa have left little updates as comments to my original post. Perfectly alright, but both are such interesting folks that they deserve their own big headlines for things they write not in direct response to something someone else has written. So, if Lisa had wanted, she could, from the blogger dashboard (the page when you first sign in), under 'posting' click on 'create'. This opens up a template for writing a 'post', with a place for a title, and a place for the content. Type what you want, then click 'publish post' and bam!, you are published on the internet, and your new post will appear at the top of the blog for all to see, making it easy for someone to look in and see what is new.
